The Flash & Supergirl Season Finales | My thoughts

The shows that finished this week were The Flash and Supergirl. And they were a bit disapointing. Or fully disappointing.

The Flash has been one of my favourite shows since it started. I used to love each episode, laughing, sometimes crying, being surprised with the plot twists... but this season that hasn't happened that often.

Barry is my favourite character, and I haven't liked the decisions he has been taken lately. Plus, I've never liked West-Allen, so all the scenes with Iris are just boring. I don't care about what happens to her tbh. I don't like sad Barry, but ugh. I will always be team Patty. Or Linda. But not West-Allen. (I hope nobody sees this a racist thing because Iris is black. If she was played by a white girl, I wouldn't like her either. It is the character, not the actress).

The bad guy of the season... meh. I found his origen a bit difficult to understand at first, probably because English isn't my first language, so I had to read an explanation 馃槀 But still... it wasn't like Eobard or Jay/Zolomon last season.

The season finale... bland as well. On the previous episode, we saw Savitar kill Iris. But we all knew that she wasn't dead. They couldn't kill her. Some people even guessed what have happened a week before the season finale: H.R. used his thingy from his hearth to change himself into Iris and trick Savitar, sacrificing himself. Now I wonder which Harrison Wells we'll have next season. I really liked H.R. And then... Barry destroys Savitar's suit, Iris kills him, Caitlin isn't Killer Frost anymore but the old Caitlin either (everybody joked about she being the new Daenerys 馃槀), and Barry has to go and stay on the Speed Force to keep the balance on the world. Ok. Shocking? No. Cliffhanger? No. We all know that on the first episode on season 4 he'll be back.

But, not everything hasn't been bad. I really like Julian, Tom Felton has been an amazing addition and I hope we see him next season. All the little quotes that are related to other shows or movies, like Harry Potter, have been on point. And so have the episodes with characters from other shows, like 3x22 with Snart (I am watching the new season of Prison Break, and I love seeing Wentworth playing such different characters) and, of course, the crossovers. As has happened since they started, they are among my favourite episodes.

And speaking of crossovers, we move to Supergirl.

When I read that the CW have bought it, I was really happy, because they treat their shows better, and usually do good things. But it has been such a boring season! I've watched most episodes while doing other things. Not even Chris Wood and his face have been capable of making me pay attention. All the plots were so boring!

I like Kara as a character. During the crossovers I've loved her. When she is with Barry I am smiling all the time, Grant and Melissa have an amazing chemistry on screen. But when she is on her show I get bored. She and Mon-El are cute together, but when you've seen Chris on The Vampire Diaries, where he was the bad guy and simply amazing, Mon-El ends up being boring and too plain. And the rest of the characters... boring as well (especially James. Can't he go back to Metropolis? Please?).

The only character besides Kara that I like, is Cat Grant. She was the best thing on the season finale, and if she is staying for season 3, I might give it a chance. Because right now, I am not watching it. I watch a lot of tv shows already, and I prefer watching things that I actually like. I quit Arrow last year, and apparently this season was really good, so maybe the same happens to Supergirl 馃槀

I know this gif isn't from the season finale, but I love it 馃槀

And another thing for next season dear writers... If you are doing more crossovers, use the Supergirl episodes as part of them. But truly, not like you did this year. Because you say that the crossover starts on Supergirl episode, and only the last 5 seconds of it are about it. You did with the crossover with Flash, Arrow and the Legends, and then with the musical episode with Flash. And that is cheating and lying! 馃槖

Once Upon a Time & Supernatural Season finales | My thoughts

We are approaching June, and that means season finales on most tv shows. That's why I want to try and do quick posts with my thoughts about the shows I watch and their last episodes, and what can be expect the next season. The other day I talked about Riverdale, and today is time for Once Upon a Time and one of my favourites shows, Supernatural.

The ending they gave to the 6th season of Once Upon a Time should have been the end of the show. Everybody got their happy ending, as happens on fairy tales. But nah... They are making another season, where we will only see a few of the main characters. Why. WHY. This show was really good when it started, and it has had a great casting (for example, before being super famous, Sebastian Stan played the Mad Hatter. I've liked him since Gossip Girl tho 馃榿). It doesn't deserve to end because it has been cancelled. I know I will watch, at least, the first episode, just out of curiosity. But it wasn't necessary.

Talking just about the double episode that was the season finale... meh. The Black Fairy was presented as a really bad villian, but she was so bland. Hook and Emma, boring. I've never liked that couple, it ruined Hook as a character. About the rest... I liked that Regina found her happy ending with her family instead than with a guy. I think that was a good message, to show that being single or not wanting a partner isn't something bad and that you can be as happy as someone with a husband/wife and kids. And Rumple and Belle finally got their happy ending! They've been so mistreated as a couple! The dance with the song from The Beauty and the Beast playing on the background was a lovely detail, I really liked it 馃挍

And then, the flashforward. We see adult Henry, and as happened whith his mother, his child goes after him because he has to help his family. So original! 馃檮 I must admit I knew the guy that we saw at the begining of the las episode was Henry. The actor kind of looked like him (he was on The Walking Dead in case his face was familiar).

                                                         --------------

Supernatural finished it 12th season at the end of last week. You could think: "if you want OUAT to end, why not Supernatural? They've had more seasons with no sense than them!". Well... on the one hand, I want it to end with a nice ending before it gets cancelled, but on the other hand, I don't want my Winchis to go. It is my favourite show, the one that started everything. What I am gonna do without Sam and Dean! Especially Dean! 馃槶 I have the feeling season 13 will be the last one tho. It seems a cool number to wrap it all up.

As OUAT, Supernatural also had a double episode as season finale. On the first one they closed the Men of Letters plot, which was a waste of time, I never liked it. And the ending was a bit stupid tbh. They are highly prepared and end up with them that easily... yeah, sure 馃檮

The second episode was focused on Lucifer's child, and I personally have always liked these episodes with angels and demons better than the rest. The monsters are ok and I enjoyed them as well, but these ones, where we have things related to the Bible, are more interesting to me. I've read and watched Shadowhunters for a reason 馃槀馃槀 Before the season finale started, Misha mentioned on twitter something about the last 10 minutes. He warned us. But OH MY GOD. I wasn't ready for that! Nobody was ready for that! So Game of Thrones-ish!!

First Lucifer kills Rowena. Or that's what he says, we only see a burned body. (If I don't see the body or the character die, he or she can still be alive. It is one of my first rules 馃榿). If she is truly dead, I will miss her. She was a great female character, and I loved her accent.
Crowley is the next one who dies. I am 100% sure he is dead for good. He will also be missed. And not only for the character, also for the actor. His pannels during Comic Con with the rest of the cast are simply hilarious.
And then... then... CAAAAASSSS!!! WHY DID YOU KILL CASS YOU ASDFGHJKL脩!?!?!?!?!?

They made me cry, and I don't usually cry with tv shows. The last time was with the season finale of Game of Thrones and that big badaboom. It isn't nice dear writers. It isn't nice. Though I think Cass will be back. He is too important to let him go, so Jack (Lucifer's son) will bring him back because he took care of him and his mom before he was born. That's my theory 馃

And this Jack... is he good or bad? Judging just for that tiny second they showed, I think he is gonna be bad. (He also reminded me of Sebastian from Shadowhunters, because he seems to have white hair, crazy eyes, and is a nefilim 馃槀) When he brings Cass back, he might not be good either. I think the writers can create a good season whith all of that. And, before I finish this post... can someone please give Jensen Ackles a freaking award?!?!?! That scene when he was inside Mary's mind.. damn it! 馃憦馃憦

Riverdale Season Finale | My thoughts

Before I start with the post, the excuses. This post should have been up during the weekend, but:

1. Motivation has left the building. If you see her, please tell her to come back.

2. I was going to write it on Friday after watching the episode so I wouldn’t forget anything, but I was sleepy.

3. On Saturday I went out to do my football socialization for the last time this season (we won btw). And then Eurovision happened (Moldova is my winner!!)

4. And yesterday I wasn’t feeling motivated to do anything.

But, I’ve been having dreams with KJ Apa since Friday, so I see that as a sign. I have to write this post. That, or that I have a new crush. I didn't like him because he is one of those guys who is really handsome, he knows it, and it kind of makes you hate him (weird, I know hahaha) but have you heard his accent? I didn't know he had one and man! Totally game changing 馃槏 (That and the beard. Beards make everything better)

Anyway, whatever the reason, let’s begin.

The season finale was a bit meh. I feel like the previous episode was the real season finale. You’ve spent the whole season trying to figure out who killed Jason, and you explain it before the finale. Weird. I must say that finding out who was Jason’s killer was a bit disappointing. Her dad. Ok... My personal bet was Betty, because she seems to have a dark side. But that was too shocking for the writers 馃槀馃槀

From that episode, I have a theory. And that’s that Archie is somehow related to the Blossoms. He has red hair, just like them, and it seems that they are the only ones in town. During Jason's funeral, Jason's mom said to Archie that he looked just like him. And then Jason's dad told Cheryl that she was a true Blossom, not like Jason. So... what if Jason and Archie are the real twins? Mr. Blossom had an affair with Archie's mom, she got pregnant with twins because that runs on the Blossom line (and they both got the red hair from her), but his wife was pregnant with Cheryl. So... one kid for each other because they are weird and like the twins thing? Something similar to all the drama Hastings-Di Laurentis on Pretty Little Liars 馃槀

From the last episode, the biggest things were Betty's brother, Jughead becoming a Serpent, and the mugger shooting Archie's dad. I truly believe that Betty's brother is gonna show up next season and that he is gonna bring some drama. And secrets. The best thing about Jughead is that he looks great with that jacket 馃槀 I hope they don't turn him bad, dark, or something like that. He is a great character, a very clever and lovely guy. And the shooting... I think we all are beting that that mugger was sent by Veronica's dad. I hope he also shows up next season. And oh, Cheryl burning her house!! That was 馃槺

I think that next season will have those new characters, more Blossom drama, Archie's dad probably isn't dead... And I hope something else from Jason's murder comes up. Some new info. The season and the show was all about it, it was the main thing, so it feels weird that after all that happened, they just leave it there.

And because my internet sucks and I can't add gifs or anything similar, I'll share with you the video that started my dreams with KJ 馃槈

Shadowhunters S2 Winter Finale | My thoughts (w/ spoilers)

This week ended the first part of Shadowhunters season 2, and after watching the winter finale, I felt like I had to share my thoughts somewhere. So here we go 馃榿

Before this last episode, they left us knowing what Valentine's plan was: to destroy all the downworlders with the Soul Sword, using Clary to activate it because she has angel blood due to Valentine's experiments (thank God the writers didn't change the story about Clary's blood). And also, that Simon was kidnapped. Again 馃槀

We start the episode, and they decide that the vision the angel gave to Clary and Jace means that he, because of his demon blood, is able to destroy the sword. Ok. I don't believe it 馃槀 I think reading the books might have spoiled that.

Then Maia... I don't like what they are doing with her. Was she like this on the books? So... annoying? The actress is great, she fits what I had imagined, and the scenes she had with Simon during this season were 馃槏 But I don't like this angry Maia. Nope.

Isabelle and Raphael... I thought he was leaving to fight Valentine, not to betray Izzy and try to kill Clary. That was a nice ship, tho. Short, but nice. And all the plot with the yin fen, reminding the readers about lovely Jem 馃槏 That's something I like, little details that only the readers understand and that link to other characters and books. They make you don't hate the writers that much 馃槀

Alec and Adeltree... that was an odd pair. During this part of the season, I've read some theories from book readers saying that Adeltree was Sebastian, especially since they showed that rune that changes your aperience. There were episodes where I believed it, and others where I didn't, but I think that after that conversation with Alec, it is clear he isn't him. Also, Alec's eyes during that whole scene馃槏 They have been my obsession this season 馃檴

I know this gif isn't from the episode, but look at those eyes. Look at thim馃槏馃槏

The next scene, with Simon bleeding out and Clary giving him her blood, totally caught me out of guard. They have changed so many things, that I totally believed that it was actually her, not Jace. When the glamour disappear I was so shocked!! They did it!! They followed the books!!

After this, there are some fighting scenes (Clary's 馃檲), and there is a quote from the books! The little details again.

And then, the drama. Jace touches the Soul Sword thinking he will destroy it, but he actually activates it! 馃槺 This was another thing that surprised me. I knew he wouldn't destroy the sword because he doesn't have demon blood, but I didn't remember that he had angel blood too! So when he activated I was like

Now here is where all the good things happen. Jace and Valentine fight, and while doing that, Valentine confesses that Jace isn't his son! He and Clary aren't siblings! And he doesn't have demon blood! I am sure non-readers' mouths were wide open haha Clary has another vision, and sees a rune that desactivates the sword (this is another thing they have kept from the books, Clary and her visions. Thank you writers). Then... oh, then. That Malec moment!!! That hug!! 馃槏馃槏馃槏 While reading the books I didn't care that much about them, but with the show 馃槏

After this beautiful scene, we have Simon, who discovers that the sun doesn't burn him anymore! I've been waiting for this momment since he converted. I remember reading it and being so shocked! It was an amazing plot twist, so thank you writers for don't ignoring it. Then we have a Climon momment, with poor Jace looking at them on the background. If he only knew... But the thing is that Clary has more chemistry with Simon than with him 馃檴

And, that last scene. THAT LAST SCENE!!!!!! Just a few seconds, just a dark figure, but aaaahhhh!!! It was 1 a.m. when I watched it, and it was so hard not to scream Sebastian 馃槀 But he is coming. HE IS COMING!! I can't wait to see him. I like the actor they have chosen. I saw him on Game of Thrones, and he can do great. I am very confident! Fingers crossed the writers don't ruin him.

Can't wait till June!

Just finished: Outlander Season 2 (Contains spoilers)

This week I finally finished watching season 2 of "Outlander". In general I feel a bit disappointed with it. This season was part in Paris and part in Scotland, and after watching some photos from the filming and some promos, I was expecting a lot from the Parisian plot. But it ended up being boring. There were good things, but still... The part in Scotland wasn't entertaining either. The best thing was the season finale. So many questions!

- In Paris
The backgrounds and Claire's dresses were as good as I expected. All the gardens and rooms were amazing, and Claire's red dress... breathtaking.

Jamie's plot was pretty boring, and I feel like it shouldn't have to be like that. He was at court, minglin with the most important men, and it was a bit meh. I expected more schemes, lies and secrets, but the only thing that entertained me was the King and his problem to go to the bathroom. Can you imagine having a lot of noble men looking at you while you are on the toilet? xD

On the other hand, Claire's plot was more interesting. Her kind of rivalry with the Comte St. Germain, her friendship with Raymond and Mary, her work at L'H么pital des Anges, losing her baby... Besides the season finale, the episode about her miscarriage (the after) probably was the best of the season. Caitriona was AMAZING. Hands down (Did you know that she used to be a model and that she worked for very important brands like Chanel? I was shocked when I found out!)

Another thing from their time in Paris. They changed the intro, and the lyrics were in French. And I didn't like it. I feel like the English version is more powerful. Maybe because I understand the words? xD The thing is that with the English version I always end up singing, it motivates me a lot, but the French version...

- In Scotland
I must admit that, even though the part in Scotland is the one I have more recent, I don't remember much of it xD I remember Jamie trying to form an army and doing things differently to change history, Angus death (such a pity... I really liked him), the mini heart-attack they gave us when Fergus didn't show up (he was another good thing from Paris, I forgot to mention him earlier)...

And then the season finale. When I saw how long it was, my first thought was: "Ok, this is gonna be about the battle, and knowing how the season has been, it is gonna be boring. You need to be on the right mood to watch it". But it actually was very entertaining! There were a lot of time jumps, and I think they deal pretty well with them. You didn't get lost on the story.
The part in the future was very interesting. I really liked seeing how places where Claire had been in the past had changed through the years. It was so well done!
One thing that I didn't realized until Claire saw it was that Gillian Edgars was actually Geillis Duncan. At first I thought she was someone who looked like her and that would help Claire tell the truth to her daughter. I make theories when they are no needed xD

From the past, the more interesting thing was discovering why and how Claire went back to her time. I was looking forward to it since we saw on the first episode that she was back.
And the cliffhanger. At the end of this season, Brianna (Claire and Jamie's daughter) believes her mother's story after seeing Gillian/Gillies dissapear in Craigh na Dun. Then she tells her mother that Jamie survived at Culloden. And Claire wants to go back. The end.

I am sure we all thought the same things after that scene: Is Brianna going with her and meet her father? If they go back... when will the appear? After the battle? 20 years after? I don't think those stones work as precisely as the TARDIS does xD
And one doubt I have... I remember that in season 1 Frank saw someone that looked like Jamie outside their house. Did Jamie also travell through time? Was it something important that we'll see in the next season?

So those are my thoughts about season 2. Though I really enjoyed the last episode and I am looking forward to season 3, in general it was boring and a bit dissapointing. "Outlander" isn't one of my favourite shows, but I enjoyed watching season 1 and expected a similar level. Now I am thinking about reading the books. I think here we don't have to wait for years as with "A Song of Ice and Fire" xD
