The Flash & Supergirl Season Finales | My thoughts

The shows that finished this week were The Flash and Supergirl. And they were a bit disapointing. Or fully disappointing.

The Flash has been one of my favourite shows since it started. I used to love each episode, laughing, sometimes crying, being surprised with the plot twists... but this season that hasn't happened that often.

Barry is my favourite character, and I haven't liked the decisions he has been taken lately. Plus, I've never liked West-Allen, so all the scenes with Iris are just boring. I don't care about what happens to her tbh. I don't like sad Barry, but ugh. I will always be team Patty. Or Linda. But not West-Allen. (I hope nobody sees this a racist thing because Iris is black. If she was played by a white girl, I wouldn't like her either. It is the character, not the actress).

The bad guy of the season... meh. I found his origen a bit difficult to understand at first, probably because English isn't my first language, so I had to read an explanation 馃槀 But still... it wasn't like Eobard or Jay/Zolomon last season.

The season finale... bland as well. On the previous episode, we saw Savitar kill Iris. But we all knew that she wasn't dead. They couldn't kill her. Some people even guessed what have happened a week before the season finale: H.R. used his thingy from his hearth to change himself into Iris and trick Savitar, sacrificing himself. Now I wonder which Harrison Wells we'll have next season. I really liked H.R. And then... Barry destroys Savitar's suit, Iris kills him, Caitlin isn't Killer Frost anymore but the old Caitlin either (everybody joked about she being the new Daenerys 馃槀), and Barry has to go and stay on the Speed Force to keep the balance on the world. Ok. Shocking? No. Cliffhanger? No. We all know that on the first episode on season 4 he'll be back.

But, not everything hasn't been bad. I really like Julian, Tom Felton has been an amazing addition and I hope we see him next season. All the little quotes that are related to other shows or movies, like Harry Potter, have been on point. And so have the episodes with characters from other shows, like 3x22 with Snart (I am watching the new season of Prison Break, and I love seeing Wentworth playing such different characters) and, of course, the crossovers. As has happened since they started, they are among my favourite episodes.

And speaking of crossovers, we move to Supergirl.

When I read that the CW have bought it, I was really happy, because they treat their shows better, and usually do good things. But it has been such a boring season! I've watched most episodes while doing other things. Not even Chris Wood and his face have been capable of making me pay attention. All the plots were so boring!

I like Kara as a character. During the crossovers I've loved her. When she is with Barry I am smiling all the time, Grant and Melissa have an amazing chemistry on screen. But when she is on her show I get bored. She and Mon-El are cute together, but when you've seen Chris on The Vampire Diaries, where he was the bad guy and simply amazing, Mon-El ends up being boring and too plain. And the rest of the characters... boring as well (especially James. Can't he go back to Metropolis? Please?).

The only character besides Kara that I like, is Cat Grant. She was the best thing on the season finale, and if she is staying for season 3, I might give it a chance. Because right now, I am not watching it. I watch a lot of tv shows already, and I prefer watching things that I actually like. I quit Arrow last year, and apparently this season was really good, so maybe the same happens to Supergirl 馃槀

I know this gif isn't from the season finale, but I love it 馃槀

And another thing for next season dear writers... If you are doing more crossovers, use the Supergirl episodes as part of them. But truly, not like you did this year. Because you say that the crossover starts on Supergirl episode, and only the last 5 seconds of it are about it. You did with the crossover with Flash, Arrow and the Legends, and then with the musical episode with Flash. And that is cheating and lying! 馃槖

2016. The fangirl review | Part 1

2016 is about to end, and a lot of people and websites are doing reviews with the best of the year (yes, there have been good things). I've decided to do the same but with a twist. This is the fangirl review! 馃拑
I went to my tumblr and checked the things I reblogged the most each month as well as the most important things that happened. On this first post I'll just mention the first 6 months because I don't want to make it too long and boring.
And because I won't post again until next week, merry christmas!! 馃巹

January:
- One Direction's "History" video. This was a see you soon, not a good bye 馃挭

- 2016 Golden Globes Awards and its pretty dresses. I still haven't get over Saoirse's.

February
- Rollo's wedding night. "How dare you?"馃槀

- Jared Leto and his big red flower at the Oscars. He is the only one who can wear something like that and not look ridiculous.

- Lucifer

March
- The Flash/Supergirl crossover. I love crossovers. And this one was 馃挋 Grant and Melissa have an amazing chemistry on screen.

- New crush: Bjorn/Alexander Ludwig. When you are on those days and watch "Vikings", things can happen. Like me falling in love with Alexander/Bjorn. And besides my hormones, let's face it. Bjorn is one of the characters who has had the best evolution.

- The Shannara Chronicles and Uncle Ander. I started watching this show because it reminded me a lot of "The Lord of the Rings", but then, meh... But it was worth it because of this guy. If you have watched the show, you know I chose well 馃槒 And it was so funny everytime they said his name... Because in Spain (in the Basque Country to be more precise), Ander is a real name. And I know a guy called Ander. And 馃槀馃槀 Fangirl problems 馃槀

April
- Matthew Daddario. This crush wasn't just in one month. It started when the show first aired and is still going. Ooohh Mateo 馃挄

- Coachella. The festival is about music. But most people have forgotten about it and now it is about who wore the cutest outfit. Or the weirdest one. Sad but true.

- "Vikings" time jump. That casting. That casting! Ubbe (馃挄) is young Ragnar. You see some pics of them and they actually look alike even though the actors are not related. Ivar (馃挄) has those crazy eyes Ragnar had on the first seasons, and I know the actor is gonna be amazing playing him. Hvitserk meh. And Sigurd lost something when he grew up, because he used to be cute. And ginger haha

May
- Jon Snow resurrection. I knew this was going to happen, it wasn't a surprise. But I got SO excited when he opened his eyes 馃槀 What I didn't like is that they kind of didn't tell anything about his soul being inside Ghost. When he moved Jon opened his eyes, but still...

- Eurovision. This probably is the best thing of May haha But they need to go back to upbeat songs and weird things, and stop with the balads. They are sooooo boring. And we are not watching Eurovision to get bored!

- New crush: Robert Lewandowski. This crush wasn't new, because I've liked him since he played for BVB, but this month it become real. Sooo real.

- Jon and Sansa's reunion. Those of us who support the Starks deserved this.

- Brienne and Tormund. THE ship.

- Hold the door

- La und茅cima. I still got chills when I see videos from this day. They make me suffer a lot, but I still love them.

June
- Cause of death: Robert Lewandowski during the Eurocup. I mean...

- The starks are back to Winterfell. This moment. THIS moment. So many feelings! The North remembers bitches!

- Alba and Gareth Bale during the Eurocup. SO cute! I've been a fan of this little girl since I saw her running through Bernabeu's pitch.

- R+L=J *wink wink*

- Cause of death (again): Margaery Tyrell. My heart still hurts 馃槶馃槶
