My favourite looks from the Haute Couture S/S 2016 shows

As I said on my first post, I really like fashion, and from time to time I'll post about it. Though I don't plan to post my outfits of the day, that is not my thing. I am more about fashion shows, editorials, campaigns... And models, of course.

Today I am going to talk about the Haute Couture "week" and about my favourite looks. I am not an expert, I am still learning, so don't expect deep and amazing comments about the gowns. And there are gonna be a lot of photos, so brace yourself xD

  • Chanel
Chanel has never been my cup of tea, but sometimes they make nice things. The dress with the bow in the collar is my favourite one.

  • Jean Paul Gaultier
I normally don't like Gaultier. The gowns he creates are... too much. I know this is haute couture, but still... Though yesterday I found myself thinking that some looks weren't that "bad". (I also found myself hating Anna Cleveland with all my guts. She is SO annoying, ugh) This one was my favourite. The simpliest thing ever, but I like it.

  • Valentino
This is one of the shows that each season I am looking forward to watch. Their gowns are so pretty! And their hairstyles are always on point. Once the photos are out, one of the first things I do is to check the close ups to see the hair better and then to try to recreate it. Another thing I always do is to think in which show and what character could wear their looks. That's the fangirl inside me xD

  • Alexandre Vauthier
I didn't know about this designer, but it was among the top shows on Vogue and I decided to check it. The clothes are really sexy. If I were famous, I would definitely wear this two looks. The coat is beautiful, and gown it is perfect for a red carpet.

  • Alexis Mabille
I didn't know about this designer either, but when I saw it on Vogue it catched my eye. All the gowns have a masculine touch that I really like.

  • Zuhair Murad
He always does the same, and it always reminds of Elie Saab, but I like it. Gowns for fairytale princesses? I am in. The first dress and the bodysuit are my favourite. Well, the bodysuit is my favourite with capital letters. Love it.

  • Bouchra Jarrar
Another designer I've never heard about before. The dress paired with the boots is sooooo me. I really like matching girly dresses with more masculine, imformal and kind of rockish shoes. And the shirt and the trousers are to die for.

  • Ulyana Sergeenko
Last designer I've never heard about before. She also was among the top shows on Vogue, and I had to check her. I didn't like most gowns (too much for me), but I found this look amazing.

  • Giambattista Valli
I saw this show on the news and felt like I had to check the whole thing.

  • Elie Saab
And last but not least, my favourite. Elie Saab. I looooooooove his gowns. He always does the same, I know, but it doesn't matter. If I were rich, I would get married wearing one of his dresses. And if I were famous, I would choose him for the red carpet. It is known. Also, just as with Valentino, the hair styles are always flawless. Even the make up.

Hope you liked it and didn't die among so many dresses and pictures ;)
Talk to you soon!
