2016. The fangirl review | Part 1

2016 is about to end, and a lot of people and websites are doing reviews with the best of the year (yes, there have been good things). I've decided to do the same but with a twist. This is the fangirl review! 💃
I went to my tumblr and checked the things I reblogged the most each month as well as the most important things that happened. On this first post I'll just mention the first 6 months because I don't want to make it too long and boring.
And because I won't post again until next week, merry christmas!! 🎄

January:
- One Direction's "History" video. This was a see you soon, not a good bye 💪

- 2016 Golden Globes Awards and its pretty dresses. I still haven't get over Saoirse's.

February
- Rollo's wedding night. "How dare you?"😂

- Jared Leto and his big red flower at the Oscars. He is the only one who can wear something like that and not look ridiculous.

- Lucifer

March
- The Flash/Supergirl crossover. I love crossovers. And this one was 💙 Grant and Melissa have an amazing chemistry on screen. 

- New crush: Bjorn/Alexander Ludwig. When you are on those days and watch "Vikings", things can happen. Like me falling in love with Alexander/Bjorn. And besides my hormones, let's face it. Bjorn is one of the characters who has had the best evolution.

- The Shannara Chronicles and Uncle Ander. I started watching this show because it reminded me a lot of "The Lord of the Rings", but then, meh... But it was worth it because of this guy. If you have watched the show, you know I chose well 😏 And it was so funny everytime they said his name... Because in Spain (in the Basque Country to be more precise), Ander is a real name. And I know a guy called Ander. And 😂😂 Fangirl problems 😂

April
- Matthew Daddario.This crush wasn't just in one month. It started when the show first aired and is still going. Ooohh Mateo 💕

- Coachella. The festival is about music. But most people have forgotten about it and now it is about who wore the cutest outfit. Or the weirdest one. Sad but true.

- "Vikings" time jump. That casting. That casting! Ubbe (💕) is young Ragnar. You see some pics of them and they actually look alike even though the actors are not related. Ivar (💕) has those crazy eyes Ragnar had on the first seasons, and I know the actor is gonna be amazing playing him. Hvitserk meh. And Sigurd lost something when he grew up, because he used to be cute. And ginger haha

May
- Jon Snow resurrection. I knew this was going to happen, it wasn't a surprise. But I got SO excited when he opened his eyes 😂 What I didn't like is that they kind of didn't tell anything about his soul being inside Ghost. When he moved Jon opened his eyes, but still...

- Eurovision. This probably is the best thing of May haha But they need to go back to upbeat songs and weird things, and stop with the balads. They are sooooo boring. And we are not watching Eurovision to get bored!

- New crush: Robert Lewandowski. This crush wasn't new, because I've liked him since he played for BVB, but this month it become real. Sooo real.
 

- Jon and Sansa's reunion. Those of us who support the Starks deserved this.

- Brienne and Tormund. THE ship. 
 

- Hold the door

- La undécima. I still got chills when I see videos from this day. They make me suffer a lot, but I still love them.

June
- Cause of death: Robert Lewandowski during the Eurocup. I mean...

- The starks are back to Winterfell. This moment. THIS moment. So many feelings! The North remembers bitches!
 

- Alba and Gareth Bale during the Eurocup. SO cute! I've been a fan of this little girl since I saw her running through Bernabeu's pitch. 

- R+L=J *wink wink*
 

- Cause of death (again): Margaery Tyrell. My heart still hurts 😭😭

TAG: Zombie Apocalypse

I found this tag on a Spanish blog and I thought it could be really fun to do.
The original tag was made with books. You had to pick ten books you own, open them from a random page, and answer the questions below with a character from that page. But because I don't own enough interesting books to do it, I am doing it with tv shows. I chose some of my favourite, and asked a friend to gave me the name of a character from each one. I wrote the names on some pieces of paper and now I am gonna chose one randomly. Let's see how it goes 😜

In a near future, a virus has turned the human race into zombies, and your only allies are 10 characters from the tv shows you watch...

My 10 shows are:

1. The first one to die: Jamie Fraser, from Outlander. 

He probably is the first one who dies because zombies are something too modern for him haha Though I've always said that blades are the best to kill zombies, and he is an expert on that... So maybe he dies becuase he is too stubborn and wanted to be a hero. Poor lad.


2. The person you will betray to save yourself: Jay Garrick, The Flash. 

I don't know if that's the best thing to do... If you are up to date with The Flash, you know why 🙈


3. First one who becomes a zombie: Hanna Marin, from Pretty Little Liars. 

I can totally see that happening. She isn't scared of anything, she always want to fight. So it's very likely to happen. Besides, she isn't the most clever girl out there. She is not Emily, but still... Sorry Han 😂


4. The person who will betray you to save him/herself: Elijah Mikaelson, The Originals. 

He has betrayed his own brother, of course he will betray me! It would be a pity though. Having an original vampire with you, with than strenght and power, it is amazing to fight against zombies. And his blood might help against the zombie virus.



5. The stupid one: Lagertha, Vikings. 

That has to be wrong. IT HAS TO BE WRONG. Lagertha the stupid one? She probably is the most clever of all the characters my friend suggested haha I refused to believe it.



6. The clever one: Belle, from Once Upon a Time. 

Ok, this question and the previous one are turned around. Belle should be the stupid one and Lagertha the clever one. I mean, Belle could be useful because she has read a lot... But nope. NOPE. This tag is wrong hahaha



7. The doctor: Dean Winchester, Supernatural. 

Finally a question that makes sense!! Dean has been fighting monsters since he was a kid, so he is really useful to fight zombies. And that sometimes ends up with injuries and broken bones. His and his brother's. So I am sure he knows how to heal anything. And imagine Dean Winchester as your doctor. I would fake being ill just to go and see him 😉



8. The specialist on weapons: Robb Stark, Game of Thrones. 

Another one that makes sense haha Robb has been taught how to fight and use different weapons since he was a kid. Swords, arrows, axes... And as I said before, I think those are the best weapons to fight zombies. And if he can use those, he can use guns as well. We are safe on that matter.


9. The fighter: Amy Pond, Doctor Who. 

Yes. YES!!! Amy and fighter are a perfect match. She is clever, strong, and knows how to kick asses. And she doesn't give up. Zombies should fear her.



10. The leader: Isabelle Lightwood, Shadowhunters. 

She is a freaking shadowhunter. She has been fighting monsters and demons since she was a little girl. She is a total badass, and knows how to prepare a plan to attack or survive. She is perfect as the leader.



So, with all this in mind, I thik my team and I will survive.
I can totally live without Jamie and Hanna. Especially her.
We have Dean, Robb and Izzy on the important positions of the team, and they are very skilled people who are able to do several things.
If Jay wants to do something against me because I've betrayed him, they can defend me. Even Lagertha. Because she might be stupid but she still knows how to fight. No one can erase that haha And Belle and her books can be useful to find a cure. Elijah the traitor and his vampire blood too haha

Favourite Street Style Looks (November)

This post is going up later than other months, but the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show happened 😁
As always, we have black, jeans, some leather jackets, some cute dresses... and high boots. I see those boots on other people and I really like them, but I don't see myself wearing them. They remind me a lot of  the musketeer boots that everybody wore some years ago, and the memories are not good haha
And from those years I also remember saying that I didn't like the high waisted jeans because they made yout butt bigger, and now I wear them becuase of that (no butt girl problems 😅😅).
In fashion you can never say never.

The 2016 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show | Review

Do you ever get that feeling, when your favourite show is back after a hiatus, or when your favourite movie/book is finally out, that you just wake up happier? Because I do. And I had it today with the VSFS. Lame? Stupid? Perhaps. But I am fangirl, this is how I do it 😁

I asked on tumblr if I should do a more serious review or something like last year, where I commented the first thing that came to my mind. Only a few people answered, so I decided to do both things. Something more serious about the segments, and then some personal thoughts about the models and and the little videos we can see between segments.
And sorry there aren't many gifs. I couldn't find them! 😐

The introdution to Paris and the show was beautiful. And I had a little fangirl moment when I saw that the first model they showed was Josephine (and Jasmine).

1st Segment: The Road Ahead
This was weird. Some outfits looked from Asia, others Mexican... I remember reading somewhere it was a mix or something, but it looked weird. Both themes are great and I think they could do great outfits from them. They are now expanding to Asia, so I think just an asiatic segment would have been perfect.
The thing I liked the most about this first segment were the colours. The red and greens were beautiful, and I want the skirt Barbara Fialho was wearing. For what? I don't know, but it was pretty.

Despite the dragon, Elsa slayed. She looked amazing! The music was perfect for the opening. Though I had the feeling that they didn't showed her that much, and when you are the model opening, you should receive a lot of attention!

I believe last year I also hated on Ming Xi. But seriously, she is very annoying! Kendall went unnoticed, and Gigi did great.


2nd Segment: Mountain Romance
This segment was my favourite. By far. All the embroidery details, the colours, the shoes... Beautiful. And Josephine opened it! Her outfit wasn't among my favourites, but I am SO proud of her! 💜 When she got emotional at the end I got emotional with her 😭

Gaga did great. The song isn't one of my favourites, but if fit perfectly. She sang and intereacted with the models, but without stealing the spot.


3rd Segment: PINK
PINK is always a bit of a mess, and the weirdest outfits go there. I still remember the "wings" Elsa got a couple of years ago (I told you someone on VS hates her) and that almost killed Ariana Grande 🙈
This year I think it wasn't that bad. The shade of pink they used is beautiful, and paired with grey and black looked amazing. I would totally buy a full version of Luma's sweatshirt (if it wasn't expensive as hell haha). Speaking of Luma, she was my favourite in this segment. I knew about her becauseof the L'Oreal campaigns with Karlie Kloss, and my friend Ana was really excited about her being on the show. At first I was like meh, but she end up being a really nice surprise. Dilone was another nice surprise, though why so many dogs VS? Why?

Bruno was perfect as always. He should sing every year 😉 And I am a big fan of his coat haha

Now, do you remember when talking about Josephine during the 2nd segment, I said I got emotional? Well, with this little video they made of her I actually cried. Damn you hormones 😅 She looked beautiful, something that she is both on the inside and the outside. She really deserved to be an angel, so VS, I hope you keep her there as long as she wants!

Gigi and Bella's video... The one who is there because of her family is Kendall you know. She is just there because of them. But who are the ones who get especial videos just for them? Yep.

The THREE OF THEM are there because of their lastnames, not just Kendall. Stop hating just on her! Ugh.

4th Segment: Secret Angel
I think this is the segment I liked the least. Those plastic trench coats... Nope.
Ming Xi, again. AGAIN. Ugh. Irina did great. I didn't see all that sex-appeal that was going to ruin the rest of the models as some people say, but she was very correct. That's what I like on the runway, not all those kisses and stupid things. Bella, poor thing. She was very nervous, and when she met The Weeknd she didn't know what to do. I don't like her, but I felt really bad for her.

Speaking of The Weeknd, another good and correct performance. His song had the perfect beat for the runway.

The video about Adriana looked like a good bye... And all the things they said about the gestures she does on the runway? That's what I don't like xD

The video featuring VSX goes to all those haters who say that models can be the face of a sport brand like adidas or nike :)

5th Segment: Dark Angel
I still don't know if I like this segment. It was better than the previous one, but... There were some pieces, like the ones Kate Grigorieva and Joan Smalls wore, that were beautiful. The wings were the best of the show though. Gigi's were my favourite, the perfect Dark Angel. It's a shame that she then did some weird things on the runway. 
Gaga was amazing in this segment. The ending 👏👏👏 She walked as a queen on those shoes, even better than some models. And the wings on her jacket... wow!

This video about the angels shows how things are changing. Years ago, being a VS angel was the biggest thing. Those models had exclusive contracts, and you didn't see them during the fashion weeks. Now those contracts are not that exclusive. The angels do more covers, more shows, more campaings... You can see it as a declive of the brand, that they are not as big as before. You can also think that it is because there are not models as before, that the ones we have today don't have that charisma. What do I think? That things change, and some people don't want to accept it.

6th Segment: Bright Night Angel
I am a big fan on Elie Saab's sparkly dresses. So sparkly lingerie? I am in 😊
On this segment we had the Fantasy Bra, and it totally went unnoticed. Again. Why didn't Jasmine open?  I sometimes don't get you VS. Bella, Josephine and Lily Donaldson's outfits were my favourite.

Irina was perfect again, and Bella as serious as I expected. And Stella smiled!! Be quick and make a wish! xD Bruno was great as well. I didn't like this song when it came out, and now I really like it 😅


And the finale. Adriana opening it... it still feels like a goodbye. And I have the feeling it was a bit short. Didn't other years stay longer at the end of the runway so you could see all the models? And Gaga, what a diva! I never thought she would say yes to something like this, and she ended up being one of the best things.


So, final thoughts. I liked the show, it flew by when I watched it. A lot of models were unnoticed to me, and the girls who do fashion weeks, as always, are better on the runway that the rest.
The music was good. I liked the performances better than the songs. If that makes sense xD
The models who everybody thought were going to steal the show (the Hadids and Kendall), didn't. People hated for nothing 😉

On this post I am going to focus on the models I like the most (Josephine, Elsa, Kendall and Sanne) and some of the more famous, and give you my opinion on their outfits. Once the show airs next week, I will do a post talking about all the segments, the outfits, the music...

Josephine Skriver

 I was so happy to finally see her outside of PINK and as an angel... And I am a bit disappointed. The Swarovski outfit is great, but the other one...

Elsa Hosk

Someone on VS must hate Elsa. She finally opens the show and you put her that?!?! I don't like the other outfit either...

Kendall Jenner

She looked gorgeous, though I don't like the way they did her hair. It looked better on the backstage pics. The red outfit is my favourite, I really like the bra. Not a big fan of the wings tho.

Sanne Vloet

She looked so beautiful, especially with the red outfit. I love the embroidery, I seriously need those red shorts!!!

Taylor Hill

At first I didn't like the first outfit (the one on the left), but now it is my favourite. And she looked really good, her hair was one of the best.

Bella Hadid

I don't like Bella. At all. Her serious face 24/7 always make want to punch her. But when I saw her they day they left for Paris, all smiles, I thought: she is gonna let herself go and we are gonna see her smile! (She actually looks prettier when she does it. Like Kendall). But seems we are not that lucky. 

Her two outfits are ones of the best, she was really lucky. Though the shoes on the right don't go with the rest.

Adriana Lima

I don't like her outfits. The yellow boots are cool tho, I really like the details.

Jasmine Tookes

I feel like she went so unnoticed since they arrived in Paris... And the Fantasy Bra doesn't pop either. I still remember when Candice wore it. I don't like her and she catched my eye! 

From her looks, the one with the FB is the best.

Alessandra Ambrosio

I am not a big fan of any of her looks, but I like the green lingerie she is wearing on the left. And she looked good. I've never liked her or seen her pretty, but this year she looked good.

Gigi Hadid

I don't like any of her looks. Some people say that she got the best outfits same as her sister, but I disagree. And I don't know if it is because her hair is darker now, but she looks older...

Joan Smalls

The first outfit Joan got reminded me a lot of the one she got last year. Same colour, something similar to a cape... But I really like the black outfit, that body is beautiful.

Lily Aldridge

Another one who went unnoticed. Her looks aren't good either. And she looked so "old"... It was probably the hair, it is darker now. 

Romee Strijd

Romee looked gorgeous as well, but her outfits... meh. I like the boots, but just because of the embroidery haha And on that pic her boobs look so weird...

Sara Sampaio

She also went unnoticed to me. Though she always does. I don't like her outfits, but the skirt?¿ she is wearing on the left it is pretty. The embroidery again ;)

Irina Shayk

I've never been a bif fan of Irina, so I wans't excited to see her. The best look is the red one. Though if she wouldn't have to cover her belly because she is pregnant, it would have been much better.
