Favourite Instagram Accounts

This post was supposed to be a top 5 instagram accounts, but I couldn't pick just 5 馃槀 So I am posting my favourite accounts, those I pay more attention to and often like. Because I don't know if I am weird or what, but I just like instagram photos when I want to keep them to see them or use them on the future. I don't get those people who like everything.
I am going to talk about them by categories: fashion, photography, street style... And, if you click on each name, it will link you to the accounts so you can check more photos and see if you like them too.

P.S: There are some big blank spaces between some photos, don't know why. Here on the draft you can't see it, but they are on the final post 馃槧

Models. Gorgeous women, behind the scenes photos from their shoots, amazing photos from their trips all around the world, and important issues. The three of them have pretty complete accounts.

- Toni Garrn

- Josephine Skriver

- Karlie Kloss

Photography + travel. These are the accounts that make me want to travell the world and start taking photos. But then I realize that I don't have money to travel or buy a nice camera, so I end up taking photos of my town with my phone 馃槀

- Ben Brown

- Matthew (Slice of Mat)

- Jacob Dixon

Fashion. I follow a lot of fashion/street style accounts, but these are the ones that always inspire me. Pretty Little Fawn is my favourite. I LOVE her style. And her hair.

Courtney Halverson (Pretty Little Fawn)

- Lizzy Hadfield (Shot from the street)

- Steffy

Others.

- Sergio Llull
He is a basketball player who plays for Real Madrid, and one of the most active on social media. He always posts before and after the games, after wining and also losing, he supports his team mates, there are some personal photos... We have a bit of everything. And he is our best player right now.

- Hannah Michalak.
Hannah is a blogger and a vlogger. I loooooove the vlogs about her family (The Michalaks), and her instagram account is as pretty and lovely as those vlogs. Her photos with her son Grayson are the cutest, and I personally love the flat lays she creates.

 - Alex H酶gh Andersen
And last but not least, my dear Alex. I already mentioned his instagram on a post about my current favourites last year, and it keeps being one. The crush is real haha An amazing actor who besides being very handsome, also is a great photographer. P.S: There are spoilers about Vikings if you are not up to date with the show!

Woman Crush Wednesday: Toni Garrn

Toni Garrn was one of the first models I followed when I got into fashion. Even though she isn't working as much as before, lately I've been more interested on the things she does and, especially, her instagram. She loves instagram stories, where she is really funny and shows a lot of behind the scenes of the shoots she is working on. And I found her even more gorgeous since she broke up with Chandler Parsons. It's like she is saying to him: "look what you are missing, you idiot!" 馃槤

Besides her work as a model, Toni also does a lot of charity work. She has her own foundation, the Toni Garrn Foundation, where she raises money specifically for projects advocating and advancing the rights of girls. And also, during New York Fashion Week, she organizes the Supermodel Charity Flea Market, where you can buy clothes, shoes and accesories donated by her model friends, (like Karlie Kloss for example). All the money they get is donated to charity.

And now that I've mentioned Karlie, their friendship is one of my favourites. Torlie started when they both were just two teenage girls, and it has survived through the years. Her other "model bestfriend" is Jon Kortajarena. I love seeing them together as well, their friendship is goals. If Jon wasn't gay, they will make such an amazing couple! And their kids would be the cutest of them all 馃槈

New series: Childhood's End, Emerald City & Aftermath (no spoilers)

Back in September I said to myself: I am not gonna start watching new series. I am struggling to be up to date with all the ones I watch already, I don't need more. And I was able to not start new things... until 2017 started. I blame Spanish tv for being up to date with the latest tv shows and my dad 馃槀

Childhood's end
"Written by Arthur C. Clarke and hailed as a revolutionary work of science fiction since its publishing in 1953, Childhood's End follows the peaceful alien invasion of Earth by the mysterious "Overlords", whose arrival begins decades of apparent utopia under indirect alien rule, at the cost of human identity and culture".

I watched this show with my dad, and we found out about it thanks to an add on tv. We saw the trailer and were like "馃槻 that looks promising!!" So we decided to watch it. It is just 3 episodes, though they last an hour and half I believe. And sometimes it is the longest hour and a half ever.
The idea behind the show is great. It is one of those that make you think after you watch it. But the episodes are so boring! I am sure the book is way better.
We have some known actors as Charles Dance (aka Tywin Lannister), Julian McMahon (Cole from "Charmed"), Mike Vogel (Barbie from "Under the Dome"), or Georgina Haig (Elsa on "Once Upon a Time").
For me it won't be one of those shows I'll remember, but if you like science fiction, give it a try. And also, if you watch the trailer, it is best if you do it here on the blog. If you watch it on YouTube there are BIG spoilers on the suggested videos list 馃檲

Emeral City
"Swept up into the eye of a tornado, 20-year-old Dorothy Gale is transported t another world - a mystical land in great peril, where an all-powerfull wizard has forbidden magic and rules over many kingdoms. This is the fabled Land of Oz in a way you've never seen it before, where lethal warrios roam, wicked witches plot in the shadows and a young girl from Kansas becomes a headstrong heroine who holds the fate of their world in her hands."

I must say I've never been a big fan of "The Wizard of Oz", but I know about the story and what happens. I also found about this show through an add on tv. The trailer is amazing!
It is different from everything I've seen before about this story. It is more dark, more adult. Though there are some little details made on purpose to remind you of the original story.
One of the things I liked the most after watching the first episode is the photography. Wow. Just wow. Even if the plot is weak sometimes, those landscapes and backgrounds make it worth it. Some of them are special effects, but others are real. They filmed a lot of scenes in Dubrovnik (Croatia) and the south of Spain. For example, the inside of the castle/palace we can see on episode 3 is the same place "Game of Thrones" used as Dorne, and Oz is the park G眉ell in Barcelona.
On this show I've also recognize some actors, both related to Jonathan Rhys Meyers somehow: Oliver Jackson-Cohen (I saw him on "Dracula", a show I started and never finished. He looks waaaaaaaay better on "Emerald City"), and Joely Richardson (Catherine Parr on "The Tudors"). There also is an actress, Ana Ularu, who reminds me a lot of Alexa Chung, especially because of her voice.
This has been the show I've liked the most from all the ones I am mentionning today. Pretty to watch and entertaining. I definitely recommend it. It airs on Fridays on NBC, and so far there are only 3 episodes available.

Aftermath
"The Copelands battle for survival after civilization comes to an apocalyptic end - and they are faced not only with plague - but the rise of supernatural creatures."

My dad saw this show online and downloaded it because it looked interesting, and after watching just one episode you could say it is... different. Weird. A bit wtf 馃槀
At first it makes you think of "The Walking Dead" or "Fear the Walking Dead". There is a family facing the end of the world, the intro is similar, it seems to be filmed on the same colours... But there are not zombies haha There is something else. And a supernatural thing that was what caught my attention. If a show has something the Winchesters can kill, I'll probably watch it. I am that simple.
Though the trailer looks great, I don't know if we'll keep watching it. It doesn't look that promising. We'll see how bored we are.

2016 Worst Fashion Trends

Before the year ended, someone asked me to do a post about the worst fashion trends we had in 2016, and I thought it was a great idea! If you ever come out with an idea I could write about, send me a message or write a comment. I would higly appreciate it 馃槉

To do this post I searched for the biggest trends on 2016 and chose those who are actually wearable, those I've seen the most on the street or online. Then I did a little survey on tumblr, and these are the results! I am talking about them from the most hated to least. Let's see if people and I share the same opinion.

Track suit + Heels

This is the trend people hated the most on the survey. And I totally agree. Why? WHY?
I like the sporty chic trend when you wear something smart and the some sneakers, but the other way around... nope.

Loafers

I like and dislike this trend. The ones open on the back are hideous. Especially the furry ones EVERYONE has been wearing. But the last ones, the closed ones, are pretty cool. I remember my mom had ones and I love seeing how she used to style them.

Band tees

I like this trend, but I get why people hate it. Seeing people wearing a t-shirt from the band you like, and that that person can't name any of their songs, makes you mad. It will make me mad. But fashion has these things, and they happen all the time. I remember years ago when everybody wore Ramones t-shirts and they thought it was a brand.

Putting that aside, I really like how they look when you pair them with smarter clothes, like the green skirt or the jeans and the blazer. The last look is from years ago, and it has always been one of my favourites. I miss seeing Frida on the runway and her street style.

Slip dress + T-shirt

This was one of my favourite trends of  2016, we don't agree haha
I remember wearing a white short sleeved t-shirt and a black tank top in top of it when I was a teenager and loving that look. This trend reminded me a lot of that, and I haven't seeing it that much on the street, just on blogs, instagram and YouTube. If the weather where I live would have been good, I would have definitely try it.

Puffer jackets

I totally dislike this trend. It reminds me of the jackets I used to wear when I was a teenager, and ugh.

Lace-up tops

Another of my favourite trends. My sister and I call them Eren Jaeger's t-shirts 馃槀

I have a couple of tops and I really like them. Though mine don't have such a huge opening. I think they are are really sexy and a different way to show cleavage. They look better if you have small boobs, but Anna Ewers (in the first pic) has boobs, and she looks great. I guess it depends on how comfortable you feel.

Old school logos

I didn't know about this trend until I started doing my research for this post. While looking for pics I realized I've been seeing people wearing old school t-shirts, sweatshirts or belts all the year around with Tommy Hilfiger, Gucci, Louis Vuitton or Calvin Klein old logos. Even adidas is using their old logo more often. It hasn't been that big in my opinion, and I wouldn't mind seeing it again in 2017.

Mom jeans

I love these jeans. And I blame Kendall Jenner for it 馃槀 They look SO good on her!
One of the things I want to check on the sales are the mom jeans. They say they look the best on girls with no butt, and I am a member of that team, so I want to see if it is true. Though I don't like that most of them show your ankles. You can't wear that where I live. Well, you can, and some girls do, but you see they are freezing. And I am not in the mood for that.
